Rosa is a beautiful, sweet, gentle and kind soul who wants nothing more than to spend time with her own family.  She is sweet wiht all people and goes wiggly wonkers when you meet her.  Rosa enjoys going on walks with her people and walks nicely on a leash with no leash reaction to other hikers, bikers and birds .  Rosa minds her own business riding in a car, sitting there quietly watching the scenery go by.  She is very smart and loves to give kisses.  Rosa tap dances for treats and takes them very gently.   Rosa would prefer to be the only pet in the house, but she wouldn't be opposed to living with another dog as long as they got along. Rosa has been waiting for quite some time to find her perfect family, and we can't believe no one has chosen her yet.  Come visit her in the adoption center today!  But, please don't be surprised if she is out on an Outward Hounds hike when you come; all the hikers love her!

All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.

Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
