** REDUCED ADOPTION FEE, BUDDY IS DIABETIC**
Meet handsome Buddy! He is a gentle giant of a cat, not a mean bone in his body! This sweet fellow has been through a couple of bad breaks, but not because he did anything wrong. He was adopted out as a kitten, but returned a couple of years later because his owners were getting a divorce. Then he was adopted again, but returned because he was diagnosed as being diabetic.
Buddy is on a low carb diet of canned food, he loves Friskies and Fancy Feast. He receives 2 small doses of insulin at meal time - VETSULIN is what the vet prescribed for him and its relatively inexpensive, can be ordered online for $36 and a bottle lasts him quite a while because his dosage is low. Buddy is a candidate for becoming diet controlled and no longer needing insulin.
Buddy is absolutely awesome with other animals! He is not aggressive and loves to head butt those he is close to. He is shy around children and will hide from them so a home without kids is ideal for him. He will most likely be shy at first, but once he understands that his new humans mean him no harm he will turn into a luvbug. He likes to talk, take long naps and again, head butt you!
If you are interested in this awesome boy, please fill out an application. We really want him to find that forever home, he is so deserving of someone that will love him forever! DOB 01-04-2007
