Facts about Peek-a-Boo

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9923256
  • Hair: Short

Peek-a-Boo was once a part of a colony of cats at the Frisco Heritage Village.  Some nice folks had been trying to trap, neuter, and return (TNR) all the kitties but over time, all succumbed to the hazards of living outdoors and were killed. Peek-a-Boo and her kittens were the last surviving kitties in the colony. The people saw how gentle and sweet Peek-a-Boo was and didn't want her nor her kittens lost to the living on the streets. Unfortunately, she saw her kittens killed by a car before they could be rescued. But they were able to get Peek-a-Boo by just picking her up and carrying her to her foster mom's home.

She has lived with her foster mom for 6 months and gets along with her resident cats and other fosters. She really loves to be petted and will meow for more, so her foster mom feels she is ready to find her new forever home. Won't you please consider making her a part of your family.

If interested, please contact the Frisco Humane at 972-498-8980, or fill out an application online at

For further information please email the address in the box to the right. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations.

We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors.

About Frisco Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisco Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization and completely relies on fundraising/donations to continue our rescue efforts and provide veterinary care. We do not have a shelter, as all animals live in our homes until adopted. Our goal are saving precious lives, promoting adoption from rescue, and reducing the pet population through spay and neuter.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Frisco Humane Society is at the PetsMart in Frisco, Texas at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, 75034 on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of every month from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. We have adoptable dogs at that time. Adoptable cats are available daily. You can view all our adoptable pets on our website

Our Adoption Process...

For dogs, we require an application, home visit, and home trial period to ensure that it's a good fit for the dog and the family. For cats, we require an application, but do allow same-day adoptions. Our goal is to find our fosters a "forever" home. Our adoption fee is $135 for cats and $165 for dogs.
