My name is Millie!

Basset Hound/Beagle Mix Dog for adoption in Warren, Michigan - Millie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Millie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Millie's Story...
Millie is about 2 years old, but her owner has only had her for less than a year. She is being surrendered by her owner because they recently moved, and Millie runs a lot, and does not get along with their children or their other small dog.

Millie is a very active dog and her owner would like Millie to find a home where she does not have to be crated most of the time. She is very stubborn but can be sweet. She is just too much dog for their family. Millie is about 30 pounds and has been rough with their 8 pound mini Doxie. She needs a family that keep her active and stimulated.

If you would like to set up a meet and greet, please complete our online adoption evaluation form and ask for pet by name!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Warren Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Warren, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
