Facts about Buster (DOG)

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 9041871

Date of Birth~1/26/15.

Photos taken on 5/4/16 & 3/6/16.

12/8/15 - He is 75+ pounds.

He likes cats and wants to hang around where they are.
Buster was rescued from a high kill shelter. He has lots of energy...Buster is a lab mix puppy, and that’s another reason for extra energy! Buster was found by some good Samaritans who kept him for a few days to try and find his family, but eventually had to bring him to the shelter. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, he tested negative for heartworms and is on heartworm preventative & has been treated with Advantage. Adoption fee of $175.00.

He can only go to a home where he will get lots of love and attention. He is still a puppy and loves to chew, so special care must be taken to keep things away from him that he will chew on.

He gets excited and wants to jump on people so he really needs a professional trainer to work with him.

He would love to have a farm where he could run and play or a large fenced yard. He's a great watchdog.

About RescueCats, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

RescueCats is here for this reason. We are a non-profit, no-kill organization providing temporary care for orphaned and owner released kittens and housecats. A safe indoor shelter, veterinary care, food/water & lots of love is given to each animal until a suitable home with a loving family can be found. Spaying and neutering & educating the public about the proper treatment of animals is our main focus. We are a limited-access facility; when one kitten or cat is adopted, another is taken in. Kittens and cats are not put to sleep unless they are too ill or injured to recover. Adoption fees, relinquishment fees and private donations are our only source of revenue to support the cats.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption fee helps to pay for the spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV testing, flea treatment, other medical costs, vitamins, food (we use premium foods like Science Diet ), cat litter, utilities, and much more. If you make a call to your local vet, it should convince you that our fee represents a fraction of what you would pay for the services and products on your own.

Adopters are required to fill out an adoption form and agree to the terms of adoption, which includes keeping the kitten or cat as an inside pet only, unless you adopt a "barn cat", agreeing to return the cat to RescueCats if you can no longer care for it, obeying the county ordinances concerning animals (rabies shot, tags, etc.), providing proper veterinary care, arranging for proper care while on vacation & if necessary, permitting a representative from RescueCats to come to your home to check on the animal's well-being. We will be happy to fax you an pre-adoption application or you can complete one online. Applications must be filled out before we allow foster home visits.
