Omega's Story...
There are 2 things you never ask a lady- her age and her weight! I may be a senior girl but don't think for a minute that I don't have years and years of love left to give! I am a little timid but don't think for a minute that I am not a super sweetheart! I may be overweight but don't think for a minute that I am not as beautiful as can be! I do great with other pets and would do just fine with respectful calm children. I am clean and quiet and very well mannered. Come on in and meet me, and don't think for a minute that you'll leave without me! 9 years old-16 pounds (yes, yes I am very overweight). My adoption fee is $85 and includes; spay, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (Portland/Milwaukie area),1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Omega, a Portland Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
