Zane has made lemonade out of lemons! At 13 years old, this declawed senior kitty was brought to us by his owner whose child was severely allergic and asthmatic. He and his "sister" Petey Girl were very scared and confused. Fortunately we found a foster home for them so they could stay together to acclimate to a new situation. Zane is very vocal at breakfast time if you don't fill his bowl right away and comes at the shake of the treat bag. He has a dog friend now in his foster home and they play together. Zane is no longer afraid or confused. Many won't consider adopting a 13 year old cat, but this boy is incredibly resilient and quite honestly could live another 7 years. He's healthy and really a cool dude. If you'd like to meet him, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. His adoption fee is $45 and he is neutered, declawed and up to date on vaccines.
