Petey Girl is a 7 year old whose world has been rocked. She was brought to us by her owner whose child was severely allergic and asthmatic. She and her "brother" Zane were very scared and confused. Fortunately we found a foster home for them so they could stay together to acclimate to a new situation. While Zane is doing very well now, Petey Girl is still having a difficult time. She hides under the bed most of the day and hasn't figured out that she is safe and cared for. Her adopter will need to be patient with her and give her time to come out of her shell. We know she is a lap cat from the bio that her original owner shared with us as well as being a fantastic mouser. She was an indoor/outdoor cat and since the foster home cannot let her outside now she may be a little frustrated about that. We can't take the chance that she would run off. She does enjoy sitting in the window and watching the outdoor happenings. Petey Girl is spayed, declawed and up to date on vaccines. If you have a spot in your heart for a gal who needs some understanding and time, please consider Petey Girl for your new furry friend. If you'd like to meet her, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
