FEB 11, 2016:
Cocoa is a 13-year-old spayed black and white long-haired cat. Given her tufted ears and large paws with fur between them, we thought she might be part Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest cat. Other than that, she is a cute, fluffy mutt.
She has a well-pet exam and will receive her shots on February 8. Cocoa has perfect litter box habits and has never had an accident, nor has she ever had any illness.
Cocoa comes from a home of two adults and other cats. She is shy of visiting strangers, and has never been around dogs or children. She is an indoor/outdoor cat.
Cocoa isn't fond of human contact, although she will occasionally hop into a lap for a little while. She doesn't curl up, though; she stands and wants to be petted. She should not be petted at any other time, however, as she might take a swipe or snap at the hand. If someone tells her 'no' or 'get down,' she will chatter back comically.
Cocoa is crazy about cardboard boxes. She hops in, scratches the bottom lightly to make it hers, and settles. Try always to have one on hand for her.
