for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

*Milo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

*Milo's Story...
Milo is about 13 months old. He was nearly euthanized by his owners but thanks to our vet he was signed over to us. Milo is a dachshund mix. He was quite timid at first but is now very playful and loves to hang out.

While Milo has made much progress with us, we do suggest he be in a home without young children. He will require his owner to commit to basic training classes.

He is a small guy and still so young, please meet Milo and fall in love with this happy guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*Milo, a Elgin Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Elgin, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Elgin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elgin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elgin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elgin paves the way for another one to be saved.
