Rosser is tall, not so dark and handsome with a sexy patch over his left eye and he doesn’t mind wearing pink. He always has his chin up despite not having a good start to life; someone clipped his ears with just a pair of scissors as a pup, then dumped him as a teenager, only to be hit by a car and left to die. But someone saw him standing off the road and helped save his life.

Rosser had a hole in his lung, dislocated leg and was bleeding from head to toe.  He has since recovered from his injuries and needs a foster or home to call his own.  He is a big fun pup and does well with female dogs and kids. He does like to chase and hunt small animals, so we are looking for a home without small dogs or cat to be safe.

Age: 3 y/o

Weight: 60 lbs

Training: Crate-trained

Temperament: Great with people, including kids; gets along with female dogs, but not small dogs or cats

Vetting: Spay/neutered / Up-to-date on vaccines / heartworm negative

Adoption Fee: $225

About Doggie Harmony

About Our Rescue Group...

Doggie Harmony is a metro-Atlanta dog rescue group focused on finding the right homes for dogs in foster care or belonging to owners who wish to re-home them. Our core objective is to place these dogs before they are turned over to animal control facilities, where they may be euthanized. Lastly, Doggie Harmony supports spay/neuter, wellness, and training to help keep or place dogs. This includes helping people find low cost resources and/or lending financial support where there's a qualified need.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Doggie Harmony is an approved non-profit (501c3) organization, so your donations are tax-deductible. If you would like donate, you may direct funds to our address below, or to our PayPal account at donate@doggieharmony.org.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Doggie Harmony does not hold regular adoption events, so watch our website for special events. We also encourage you to contact us about pets you may be interested is, as we are always willing to bring them to meet you.

We do not have a shelter, so we are only able to support animals with foster homes or donations toward short-term boarding.

Our Adoption Process...

Those interested in our adoptable pets are asked to complete an application that will allow us to assess whether a particular pet is good fit for their household and lifestyle. If it is, we will then bring the pet to their home for a meeting. If all goes well, the adoption contract is initiated and a fee is collected, but held for two weeks to ensure the adoption is a success. Our fees vary depending on each pet and what has been invested medically and behaviorally to ensure they are adoption-ready.
