Hurley will attend our weekly adoption event on Saturday, May 28th at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda from 1-5 PM. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application from our website, poochmatch.com and email it to his foster mom at embracewhatdefinesyou@gmail.com.
Hurley will be 14 1/2 weeks old on Saturday, May 28th. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. He is from a litter of eight pups, all of his siblings have been adopted. The family that surrendered the litter owned the mother who was a 25 pound Staffordshire Terrier mix, the father(s) are unknown. Based on the appearance of the litter, our vet concluded that they are a mix of Staffordshire Terrier, Labrador Retriever, Boxer, Hound, and German Shepherd mix. Unfortunately Hurley's adopter realized after a month that she was not prepared to raise a medium sized puppy with a high energy level. Hurley is leash-trained and crate-trained. House-training is an ongoing process, although, as with the adoption of any puppy, house-training will ultimately depend on his adopters. He needs an active home that can provide him with the attention and exercise that he will need. He is fostered with other dogs, male and female, large and small and he gets along great with them, he shows little interest in cats although he has yet to be formally introduced to a cat.
If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
