"Hi Heavy Chasse! Hi Heavy Chasse!" - This is how the staff greets Heavy every morning and he gets so excited he literally prances in place! Heavy Chasse might just be the happiest dog in the entire world. He calmly waits in his run every day for someone to walk by or let him out to run. The second he sees you he perks up and starts wiggling all over. Heavy has the kind of face that actually smiles and he adores everyone he meets, including other animals! He is currently helping Peach, one of our most untrusting and fearful canines, learn to play and we couldn't think of anyone better for the job! Heavy is undergoing heartworm treatment and has 3 visible tumors on his body. We are establishing a treatment or surgery plan for Heavy with our veterinarian based on a biopsy and will update his information once a treatment plan has been made. In the mean time we are hoping someone falls in love with this adorable boy as quickly as the staff did! Medical issues and all, Heavy Chasse is one of the most gentle, loving, and charismatic dogs at PAWS and we sincerely hope he finds a forever family to share his wonderful personality with!
