Dodger's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Dodger's Story...
Dodger is actually a "RED" Heeler, but that choice isn't available :) He is 6 years old, neuterd, housetrained, great on a leash and has impeccable manners. Dodger and his brother, Dexter, were dopted from us as puppies, but now thier person has to move out of the country and cant take the boys with. Dodger is very smart and acts like a watch dog until he gets to know you then he's your forever best friend. It would be great if these brothers could go to their new home together!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a Reeds Spring Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Reeds Spring, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Reeds Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reeds Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reeds Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reeds Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
