Meet the gentle giant, Blanca!

Blanca is a Great Pyrenees gal who is just as sweet as her coat is soft. She may take a minute to warm up to you, but after a few pats on the head and nice long ear scratches, she is all yours! Like most Great Pyrenees dogs, Blanca has a calm and sweet temperament and will make a great family dog. She gets along great with kids but can be a little wary of toddlers or younger kids who may have a bit too much energy and excitement for her. When Blanca first came in, her coat was a matted mess so we had to shave it all off so it can grow back into the healthy, fluffy, snow white coat she is meant to have! It will take a little time, but it will all be back soon! And once it is, Blanca would absolutely love to lay right beside you (if she’s not trying to get in your lap) and let you brush through her coat and keep her nice and soft. Although she is a large dog, Blanca will only need moderate exercise and would much prefer to be lounging on the couch in the cool a/c most of the day.
