Puritan (and his mate Monica) were rescued from the freezing cold, winter streets of Detroit along with their eight newborn puppies. Puritan is feral, and is slowly adjusting to his new indoor life in a safe foster home. Puritan is learning how to be an indoor dog, and he has come a long way already in his foster home, gradually learning to trust people and try new things. Unfortunately, Puritan was heartworm positive but has since completed heartworm treatment.
