Joan Jett's Story...
Joan Jett is a beautiful little momma who came to us with 5 kittens in October! She is only 3 years old and would love to find a home of her own now that all her kittens have been adopted! Joan is a friendly, affectionate, beautiful torti girl and deserves to find a great furever home. Joan greets everyone who walks by and loves sunny windows and watching the birds outside.

Joan is feline leukemia positive, which means she should be an only cat, or go home with another cat positive for feline leukemia. Joan will be a care for life cat, which means that MRFRS will continue to pick up the medical care for anything related to the feline leukemia. Come in to meet Joan and learn more about her condition, Joan certainly does not let it slow her down!

Joan is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joan Jett, a Salisbury Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Salisbury, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Salisbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salisbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salisbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salisbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
