Say hello to our sweet Cookie! This amazing girl was at Stanislaus shelter where she was slated for euthanasia. She was such a volunteer favorite someone paid for her to go to boarding until a rescue was found. Pit Crew happily pulled Miss Cookie and boy are we glad that we did! She is great with other dogs, big and small, loves kids, just a wonderful family dog! We took cookie to be spayed and to our surprise the vet discovered that she is deaf. We had no idea that she couldn't hear but that explains her unusual bark :) according to the vet she was born without eardrums and cannot hear a thing.
