Milton's Story...
Milton is a 3 month old, approx 30 pound, male baby goat. We rescued him from the shelter. He was found as a stray. He will be neutered on June 1st and then when he has healed he will be available for adoption. He loves his foster dad and head scratches. We've had him for two days now (5/27/16) He was quite nervous and shy at the beginning but he is warming up fast.

Local adoption only. LA & Ventura County.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milton, a Los Angeles Goat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Goat for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Goat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Goat breeders who help with Goat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
