A WONDERFUL SPECIAL NEEDS PUPPY:  11 months old / Currently 37 lbs.  Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I'm a wonderful, happy pup who's had a hard start to life, but I don't let anything get me down as I'm full of life and I love to play! I came to Mostly Mutts with a broken back and unable to use my back legs at all but I've gotten a little use back. I recently had surgery to amputate one back leg and my tail.  I hope that my remaining leg will get stronger and give me more support. Having no tail means my diaper stays on better—yay!. Yes, I do wear a diaper to help with bladder and bowel control but tend not to go in it a lot. My foster family takes me outside and removes my diaper and then I'll go as soon as it comes off. I don't know if I'll ever really be able to not wear a diaper, so you must be willing to change them and keep me clean. I love all people and they love me too and being with people and other animal friends is the best! I like cuddling with both human and canine alike! I also like going outside with my people as that's where we do some therapy with my family helping me stand and get used to my wheelchair, so I can run and move all I want. I can get better traction outside and am motivated to explore! It's great fun. I can also practice my therapy with you on the carpet. We find that wearing a diaper and a toddler onesie gives my back support and may help me have better strength, but I’m outgrowing the onesie’s so a thunder shirt could be helpful with a little back support. I must stay slim to protect my back, so not too many treats for me please and I should be adopted by a family with no stairs or with someone who can carry me up and down stairs. I am not in pain either, so that’s great! You can contact Tammy for more information about me at 770-314-8974. My best friend is Iggy who has similar back issues as me, so if you happen to want 2 wonderful special needs doggies, MM's will let you adopt both of us for one adoption fee of $275.00 or my adoption fee alone has been waived and Mostly Mutts is asking for a minimum $100.00 tax deductible donation for me and that you provide me with a fantastic forever home.  Energy level:  Currently 3–4, but should be a little higher the stronger I get.  I'm spayed, micro-chipped and current on my shots.

About Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!
Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
