Baby Girl is a 7 month old Labrador Retriever Mix.  Her brown brindle colors are really pretty with the golden highlights.  Baby Girl was preoccupied while I was trying to take pictures and she is not looking like the happy-go-lucky girl that she is.  I will have to update her pictures later.

Her story:  she was thrown into the yard of an elderly lady as a 6 week old baby.  She had a terrible skin infection, so bad she was screaming in pain constantly.  I had to bath her twice daily, her medication was helping but the painful screaming did not stop until after 4 days.  She would calm down as I held her but boy was it hard to look into those little baby eyes begging me to help her.

Happily Baby Girl is all better now, she is playing with toys and her foster brothers and sisters.  She walks good on a leash, comes when called and does whatever you ask of her as she is very eager to please.

Baby Girl is crate trained and house trained.  She loves her food and rawhide chews.  Right now she is only 33 lbs and almost at her adult height and weight so I do not expect her to be more than 45 pounds as an adult IF she gets that big.  Her growth has been slow so I would not be surprised if she remained on the smaller/medium size.

Baby Girl loves to play chase in the backyard and would be a great companion to another dog big or small, she plays with the all in a nice way.  Actually her best friend POPPY is only 1 month older than Baby Girl and outweighs her by 20 pounds.  They chase each, wrestle, jump over each other and just have a blast together.  I have video of both of them I can send at request.

Can you be Baby Girls second hero and give her the forever home that she deserves?

Our Adoption Process...

All of our puppies/dogs have had their spay/neuter surgery, received all vaccinations required for their age at the time of adoption, rabies shot & certificate (if old enough at the time of adoption), microchip & brochure & tag. They have been dewormed twice and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Their medical records come with each pet at the time of adoption.

Our adoption fees are $150 for dogs and puppies of any age. Some purebred dogs may have a slight increased fee.

We ask that you complete an application before we schedule a meet and greet with the dog of your choice.

We also require home visits especially if there is another dog/cat already in the home of the potential adopter.
