Ellie's Story...
Hi my name is Ellie! I'm a very sweet but shy little girl that was surrendered by my owner. All I want is for my forever owner to love me for who I am. If you do I will love you forever for giving me a loving home. I love to snuggle in bed with you or on the couch with you but I'm not to fond of being held for a length of time but remember I'm a little shy baby. I do have an allergy to fleas that causes me to over bathe myself which in turn will cause my fur to fall out but if you keep flea medication on me all will be great!!! Please allow me to show you how much of a sweet girl I am despite my appearance and sometimes my shyness. Love, Ellie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
