Bogey's Story...
Hi! I'm Bogey. I'm named after the great lover Humphrey Bogart I'm a very friendly Maine Coon Cat mix. I love to rub up against you to let you know I'm ready for some love. I like to chat with you and tell you about my day. I have a big poofy tail and medium length fur. I was taken to the shelter by my owners because they lost their home. I was so upset to be in that awful shelter and couldn't understand why I was not with my family any more that I hid in the corner and was so frightened. No one wanted to adopt me because I was so scared. My foster mommy saw me and knew all I needed was some love and a safe place to live. When she took me home I was so grateful that I started purring and loving all over her right away. I knew I would be ok now. I seem to get along with my foster moms cats and big dogs. She tells me I can't stay but she promised me she will love me every day until she can find a forever someone or a family for me with lots of love. I sure hope someone who is reading this will see the love in my eyes and want to make me part of their family. I have lots more love to give! Please consider adopting me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogey, a Tampa Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
