Pepper is a 2-3 year old Bassett/Blue Heeler mix. She weighs 40 pounds. She is great with other dogs, and loves her people. In fact she seems to love everyone she meets. She is really affectionate. She is completely house broken, and crate trained. I think she would be best in a house that didn't have toddlers or very young children, as the Blue Heeler is a cattle dog, and may try to herd someone really tiny.
