I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Blue's Story...
Meet Blue, a paperless purebred male Queensland Heeler. He’s 17 months old, neutered and has his rabies shot. Blue is a lover boy; he loves to hug and kiss people. He’s a very energetic dog who needs a job. He knows and responds to basic commands and is eager to learn. He sticks close and follows people all over the yard. He’s good with other dogs and kids but we think he might be a cat chaser, although he can be taught not to chase if someone will take the time. He is NOT housetrained as he has been an outside dog. Blue weighs 40 lbs. Please call Gina at 822-8440 for more information on Blue. Adoption fee - 200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Tehachapi Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Tehachapi, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Tehachapi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tehachapi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tehachapi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tehachapi paves the way for another one to be saved.
