Daisy is a very loving 5 year old mix breed female pup. She is house trained and does well in the kennel and on car rides. Daisy loves to play with her people and run around the yard, but 95% of the time she would rather play with her stuffed hippo toy, cuddle, or nap. She likes to hide her chew toys around the house, and she is actually very good at it!
She is afraid of new people and places, and will need some training to help her overcome her fears. In the house she is the most loving dog I've ever known. It has taken time, but now she will let us squeeze her, carry her, and just love on her all day. She needs a home with older, more considerate children, and where she will have company most of the day. She is not good with cats and with dogs she is picky. If you would like to meet Daisy or have any questions, please contact me!
She was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved her and now they are helping her find the forever, loving home that she has never known.
She is currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and is in a foster home. By adopting her, you not only give her a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care.
If you are interested in adopting, please email email@example.com with Pet name and ID#. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond as all fosters work with us on a volunteer basis.
