Marshmellow's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and good with dogs.

Marshmellow's Story...

Her "official" name is Marshmellow, but I call her Chimmy or MiMi. She is as soft and fluffy as her name might imply. She enjoys sitting in the window, back scratches, and dinner time.

It really breaks my heart to put my baby up for adoption, but I am out of options. I am single an pregnant with no friends or family in the area willing to take my Marshmellow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshmellow, a Houston Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
