I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Little Girl (Lillie)'s Story...
Little Girl (Lillie) showed up as a stray at a home in Spring Valley in March.

Lillie is very mild mannered. She is a cuddle bug and loves attention. She gets along well with other dogs and likes all people she meets. Lillie is housetrained, is not a "barker" and is very smart.

Her favorite toy is a big Kong tennis ball with a sqeeeky in it. She loves to run and play outside, and then come in the house to take a nice nap. Lillie's past is a mystery, but she came to us needing help to get healthy. Her current weight is 52 lbs and she needs to gain about 10 more.

Lillie is being treated for Lymes Disease, but after her 30 days of antibiotics she should be feeling 100%! Lillie deserves a home where she will be loved, cherished and spoiled. I promise, you will get that back tenfold. If interested in meeting or applying for Lillie...please note to ask for Little Girl!

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Girl (Lillie), a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
