My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 9 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 45 lbs
Variety: Field

Meet Scooby Doo! This sweet, handsome guy just loves his people. Scooby enjoys many things, but most of all he yearns for attention and affection from his family. When he's not getting petted or cuddled by his foster mom, you can usually find Scooby looking out the window watching for birds, bunnies, and squirrels. If he's not doing that, he's chasing them around the backyard!

The resident cat keeps Scooby Doo on his toes. Being the goofball Springer that he is, Scooby has decided that he, too, will to use the cat tower as a viewing pad to check on what is happening outside. When he's not participating in the "neighborhood watch program," he loves to snuggle and be close to people.

Scooby Doo has good manners and sits nicely for attention. He will lie right beside you on the couch if he is allowed to do so. He sleeps either on the floor next to the bed or, if it's permitted, in the bed snuggled right up with you. He just wants to be as close to you as you will let him. He is a patient boy who waits to have his paws wiped before coming inside. He does great in the car, and he would love to accompany you anywhere you go. Because he is such a people-oriented guy, Scooby will do best in a household where someone is at home most of the time.

His adopters should be prepared to be patient with Scooby Doo, as we expect that he will need an adjustment period while he settles into his Forever Home. He is such an endearing and loving guy that the patience will be well worth it! Scooby Doo will make his Forever Family very happy and will be a great companion.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Scooby Doo.
