We would like to thank Sarah Ernhart of Sarah Beth Photography, Minneapolis/Saint Paul, for generously donating the photos of Sadie and Suzie displayed here. Visit her website.

Sadie and Suzie are sweet and adorable sisters. They are looking for a patient, loving Forever Home where they will be able to blossom into confident and playful dogs. These girls are loving, gentle, and often a bit shy. Their main comfort is their strong bond, so we will be adopting them together as a pair.

Because they can be scared easily by sudden movements or loud sounds, Sadie and Suzie would probably do best in a home without children. Although we don't know much about their past, we do know that their Forever Family should be prepared to work with them at their pace. Suzie and Sadie are beginning to blossom, and they have been making strides in their socialization with people.

The sisters do not care for crates, so they are kept in the kitchen while their foster family is at work. They are very respectful of their surroundings, and they enjoy sleeping on their dog beds during the day. At night, however, they prefer to sleep in bed with their foster family!

Both girls enjoy lounging in the backyard on nice days. Because they tend to follow their noses, Sadie and Suzie will need a fenced yard. They do well when they are being groomed, and afterward they love to show off their new haircuts. They enjoy the company of other dogs and play well with them.

If you are looking for two delightful girls to shower you with attention and affection, Suzie and Sadie will be excellent companions. These girls deserve the best, and we want to find the perfect Forever Family for them. If you think that family is yours, please contact their case managers at the e-mail address below.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Sadie.
