If you like hounds, you will certainly love Brownie! He is everything a Hound has to offer; goofy, playful, loves food, good with other dogs, and he will certainly keep you entertained! Brownie was originally found as a stray in North Carolina, and made his way up to us after landing in a shelter down there. He does need basic training, so will require a patient and understanding owner who won't mind teaching him the ropes. He is about 2yrs old, so he is still energetic and will really benefit from regular playtime, long walks/hikes, etc. We think having another pup to pal around with may also be a good idea for Brownie. He isn't very big, about 40lbs tops. Brownie is always happy and greets everyone like they are his best friend. If that sounds like the kind of dog you are looking for, stop in and meet him today!

About Common Sense For Animals

About Our Shelter...

CSA was founded in 1990 by Veterinarian, Robert R Blease, DVM to provide an organization where all persons and groups can logically and intellectually discuss all issues affecting animal welfare. CSA has a "common sense" philosophy regarding food animals, wildlife, research and companion pets. We operate a No-kill Shelter and believe education and community service are our most valuable assets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Shelter is located at 2420 Route 57, Broadway, NJ.
