Hi! My name is Maverick, though many also call me 'handsome', 'sweet', and 'coolest dog ever'! I was rescued from the floods in S.C. in the fall of 2015 and am looking for my furever home.
I'd like to be the only pet in your home; cats are too fun to chase and I am a bit picky when it comes to other dogs. I might be okay with another female dog about my size, but I'd rather be your one and only.
I love playing fetch with all types of balls and toys, and rolling around my cozy bed- the humans are always giggling when I do that for some reason. I also enjoy hiking and walking with people, but at the end of the day I love nice, long cuddles.
If you'd like to meet me I'll be waiting for you at the adoption center- I take visitors at any time, no appointment necessary!
All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
