Bonded Chi Brothers Saved From Being Surrendered to a Municipal Shelter But Wait Patiently For Their Forever Home
Long Island, NY
Rocky (tan/brown) and Robin (tan/wht) are 1.5 year old Chihuahuas who are bonded siblings. They were being surrendered to a municipal shelter by a family member, when they were dealing with personal/financial hardships and no longer able to keep them. Road to Home Rescue Support stepped up and immediately brought them to our vets office where they got the medical care they had never received.
Rocky and Robin are extremely loving and get along well with other small dogs. They have really begun to come out of their shells but will need someone with patience to allow them to continue to decompress. They are in a TEMPORARY FOSTER and have had time to adjust being around other dogs and even older children (who they love). We recommend a family with children 12 years old and up, so that they could continue to adjust in a calmer environment.
