Munchie's Story...
Hi, I'm Munchie and I am looking for a home with my brother, Jordan. I am a very sweet dog and get along fine with other canines of all sizes. When I was taken from the shelter, I received a complete blood panel to help determine why I was so fat! It turned out that I am diabetic, just like lots of humans, and I take a small shot of insulin twice a day when I eat It's really very easy I go in to the vet every so often to make sure the dosage is correct,

I have lost 9 whole pounds from when I was rescued and now tip the scales at just 48 pounds! I am current on shots, micro chipped and house trained. I enjoy hanging out with you and getting belly rubs. I and great with other dogs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munchie, a Phoenix Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
