Chewy & Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chewy & Louie's Story...
Chewy and Louie came to the rescue together and are a very bonded pair. Chewy is a brown/black neutered male approximately 7 years old and 9.5lbs. Louie is a black/white neutered male approximately 6 years old and 5lbs. Even though they are best pals, they have opposite personalities. Chewy is very playful and crazy at times while Louie is more subdued and would be content to just sit on your lap or be held. Together they are the perfect combination. Both are good with older kids, cats and other small dogs. They are both very sweet and loving boys. They are still new to the rescue so we will provide more about their personalities as they come out more. Both dogs are up to date with their shots and micro chipped. They are crate trained and are working on pottying outside and do pretty good. If you think these bff's are perfect for your family, please email their foster mom for more information! Please email Cindi ( for information on how to adopt Chewy and Louie or visit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewy & Louie, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
