Chop's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chop's Story...

Chop is a nearly two year old pure bred tri-colored cocker spaniel.  He was an owner surrender, along with another dog, when his family became overwhelmed with the number of dogs they owned.  Chop loves kids and other dogs and enjoys playtime.  He even allows his human foster sisters to push him around in a toy stroller.  He is doing well with house training and is a very gentle guy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chop, a Nesquehoning Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Nesquehoning, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Nesquehoning.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nesquehoning already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nesquehoning breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nesquehoning paves the way for another one to be saved.
