Hunter is a friendly and loving, purebred beagle that turned 7 years old on June 6. He weighs approx. 36 lbs. and stands about 16 inches tall. He has lived with one family since he was 6 weeks old, but now needs to find a new family to love him. He gets along great with other dogs, but has never been around cats or children older than 3 years of age.

Hunter can be left alone for up to 8-9 hours each day and has free range of the house without any problems. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is housetrained, but not crate-trained. He enjoys going for walks, eating, and spending time with people. He does well in the car and would make a great travelling companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HUNTER- Courtesy Posting, a Ventnor City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ventnor City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ventnor City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ventnor City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ventnor City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ventnor City paves the way for another one to be saved.
