My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"My name is ANNIE, and I'm a gentle, loving lady who's looking for a person or family who'll make me a part of the family. I'm a ten-year-old Shih Tzu who was left at the shelter with terribly matted fur. I immediately went to the groomer, where I was clipped and bathed. I was a perfect, well-behaved client. At first, I just stayed in my bed, but now I come over to my gate to greet people, and I enjoy going on walks. I don't see very well, but I do a pretty good job at getting around. When people offer me treats, I'm very careful to make sure I'm only taking the treat in my mouth. I've been absolutely quiet here at the shelter, so I'd probably be a good apartment dog. I love to snuggle and be petted, and I'm ready to start this new chapter of my life. I get along well with other dogs, and I'd be a cherished family pet. I've already been house trained, too. I hope you'll come visit me and find out just how very special I am. It's hard not to fall in love with a precious pooch like me. Also, MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30. That includes my microchip, basic shots, and spay (I've already been spayed). Love, Annie"
