Cagney has come a long way from life on the streets. He and his brother Rooney were found at a feeding station by the London Avenue Canal. He was deemed unadoptable by the original rescuers due to his wariness of humans and was going to be put down, but ARNO stepped in to give him another chance. After many months in ARNO’s feral rehabilitation program, Cagney now walks well on a leash. He is about 70 pounds with a beautiful thick black coat and soulful eyes. He still can be somewhat shy and cautious, but he has a pleasant disposition and is coming out of his shell more and more each day.
For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The adoption fee is $200 which includes neuter, shots, and a microchip. Come visit him at the shelter 271 Plauche Street, New Orleans, Louisiana (Elmwood area) 3 pm – 7pm any day of the week.
