Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brody is a beautiful young (2 years) neutered male black-tri colored Border Collie. He came from farm country, yet has lived indoors, is crate and house trained. Brody seems to get along well with other dogs, both male and female. He is a goofy boy who loves to play with a ball or another toy. If he thinks you are upset with him for something, he runs to "his" area, lies down and looks up at you as if to say" Look I am really being a good boy!". His wagging rarely stops and he is enthusiastic to learn new skills or have a good play session.
Brody is about 45 pounds and medium high energy. He needs a good hour of walking daily and some fast work or play in a fenced yard with another dog. As a typical Border Collie, he also needs some mind games to keep his inventive nature stimulated. He would love to be your hiking or jogging partner. He has been around/lived with children over age 10 and seemed very happy with them according to his previous owner.
He seems never to have met a stranger and makes human friends wherever he goes.He loves to ride in the car. Brody will chase a cat, but does not seem want to harm them. It is just sport to him.
Brody is up to date on vaccinations, Heart-worm negative and on Heart-worm prevention and flea/tick prevention. He has been neutered and had his dew claws removed. He is a one healthy, happy boy waiting to share his zest for life with a new family. If you are interested in Brody, please complete an application. Once completed, and approved, we will call you to set an appointment for you (and your current dog if any) to meet Brody.
