Shiloh's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Shiloh's Story...
Shiloh is a lovely smaller (about 30 lbs) mix of Cattle Dog, German Shepherd and handsome wandering stranger. She about 6 years old, is spayed, up to date on vaccines and Heart-worm negative. Obviously someone cared for her in the past. She is as lovely as can be in every way. Shiloh was a stray, but soon charmed all of the shelter staff and all of the volunteers who drove her and Scotty from NC to CT. What a great way to get to know a dog! She walked in as if we were all long lost friends, walks well on leash, gets along with other dogs famously and has some obedience commands already. Makes you wonder why someone didn't search harder to find her, but we'll never know. We just feel lucky to have her here at the Inn and to be a part of her journey to a new life with a caring family. She is a sweet, cuddly dog of medium energy who will settle for a snuggle or be happy to have an energetic hike. She LOVES Frisbee and will catch one in the air when it is thrown to her. We are still discovering her talents and are impressed by who she is on a daily basis.

If you are interested in Shiloh, please complete an application. Once completed, and approved, we will call you to set an appointment for you, your family (and your current dog if any) to meet Shiloh.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Lebanon Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lebanon, or seeking a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lebanon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lebanon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lebanon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lebanon paves the way for another one to be saved.
