My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GABBS was named for the place he came from, the ranch outside of Gabbs where 145 dogs were left orphaned when their owner died. He has lived back in civilization for over a year and has learned many talents. Gabbs walks well on a leash, can run off lead (and actually come back), he rides well in a car and is house trained. Gabbs is quiet as a mouse...and very shy. It takes him a few days to really warm up to a new person and environment. But soon his tail is wagging ever so slightly and he is coming up for a pet. Gabbs is really a one person dog. Once he warms to that "one person" he is glued to their heel and ready to share their life and bed. But he doesn't need commotion. Gabbs needs a forever home with a quiet, patient person who will appreciate that all the sudden he is glad to see them. Gabbs is neutered, up to date on his shots and just quietly and patiently waiting for that special person to come into his life. Gabbs is currently in a foster home.
