Sally is a playful, curious, and slightly mischievous young girl. While she'll tolerate a head scratch here and there when she's eating, she really just prefers to watch humans from afar. However she LOVES other cats. She's almost always wrestling, chasing, or cuddling with one of the other cats in her foster home. When it's meal time and she gets excited she walks around headbutting and rubbing against anyone she's near. She's a perfect cat for keeping other cats company. While her disinterest in people may not be ideal for some, it's a really big plus when you're trying to work and having yet another a cat walking over your keyboard, laying on your papers, and otherwise demanding your attention just isn't what you need!
If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
