Hello World,
My name is Daisy or Daisy B as my Dad calls me. I say the B is for Beautiful (everyone says I am), Big Hearted (Mom agrees) and Beyond Compare. Dad says the B is for being a bit Bossy and Bodacious — so let me tell you more about what I’m all about.
I’m a little girl with a BIG personality. Do you know the song about loving deeply from the bottom of your heart? Well I’m that kind of girl. When I trust you, you can do anything with me: hold me upside down, scratch or pet any part of my body, snuggle for all I’m worth, go for walks and rides – I love it all! But that’s when I know you and I feel safe.
Perhaps because I’m one of those pretty girls that everyone wants to touch and pet, people don’t give me time to get to know them. They come up to me and start reaching out. And that doesn’t work with me. I’m not a powder puff or a pushover.
I am, however, a ‘selective’ kind of furkid who respects boundaries and rules. I respond really well to someone who is in charge and sets those rules for me. (Then I don’t have to!) And that doesn’t happen in the first five minutes. When I know I am safe and with people who love me, I can relax and be the darling, delectable little girl I am with my foster Mom and Dad.
So, like all beauties, there’s a bit more work involved in order to get the reward: Me!! A little girl who will love you to the ends of the earth once I know you well.
My manners are good, I’m housebroken and affectionate (with those I love), love all the things bichons love and show my gratitude, too. I am happy being the only pup in the house (more people to love me is great!) and I’m best with owners who are experienced and dog savvy.
