Ozzie's Story...
Hi my name is Ozzie. I am a handsome orange male tabby kitten (born approx. April 2016). I have been neutered (I wasn't a fan of this) and had my shots. My foster Mom says I am adorable and the sweetest little man she has ever seen! My favorite thing to do is snuggle up to anyone and sleep. Don't get me wrong I love to run and play but cuddling is the BEST! I have foster bothers and sister who look a little like me. Mom said we are kittens, and we get along really well. We run and play together. Then there are the big guys and we are friends too. Some of my foster siblings don't really look like me. I think Mom calls them dogs? Anyway they are really loud but that doesn't bother me. I like these "dogs".My Mom told me the human that adopts me will be very lucky to make part of their family. If you want to meet me please request an Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzie, a Albemarle Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Albemarle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Albemarle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albemarle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albemarle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albemarle paves the way for another one to be saved.
