Facts about Ziggy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
I was originally picked up as a stray and while my rescuers looked around to try to track down my family, unsuccessfully, I lived with their cats. I did great with their female cat, but not too good with the male cat. I even lived with a lab and, while at first I was not a big fan, we ended up doing okay. They said that once I was settled, I was very sweet, very vocal and could easily be trained with treats. Once at Save-A-Pet, I got adopted really quickly and recently came back because I was sometimes thinking outside of the box. They did say that I was scared and would hide from their dog…you know we cats can be very sensitive. Here I am doing just fine, so maybe I would be best as your only kitty. Everyone said that I am a super sweet cat and with so many changes in my life in such a short time, it will be so nice to get into a peaceful routine— time to do some birdwatching, relax in your lap or have you carry me on your shoulder.

Come meet me at Petsmart Vernon Hills (corner of Route 60 and Milwaukee).
