Facts about Serena

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Serena is small, but she has a big heart. She is black, with short hair, and about nine years old. She loves to be petted and is very affectionate. She wants to be noticed, but being small and one of many black cats, she doesn’t always get all of the attention that she needs. Serena was part of small colony of feral cats that was trapped. She was the mother of four kittens. After coming to live at the sanctuary, she soon became tame and very loving. Serena follows you around, hoping to be noticed and petted. She would really love to have a home of her own and to be special to a kind human friend. She gets along well with other kitties, so she would be okay in a household with other cats. She would also be okay in a household where she is the only kitty, as long as she gets enough love and attention.

At Brigid's Crossing we take the time to care for the animals until they are safe in their new homes which we believe makes for a healthy and happy transition for all involved.

All of our animals are chipped, spay/neutered and up to date on current shots.
