SANDY's Story...
This is our cute little Sandy. She is a small Terrier/Chihuahua mix who can be a bit on the shy side at first. Sandy is calm and just loves the affection and attention from our rescue staff. She gets along with the other small dogs in her play group and tends to be an observer. Sandy is crate trained and ready for a home of her own.

She is available now, and can be adopted before we arrive at PetSmart in Indianapolis on Saturday, June 25th. You must have an approved application first, and our dogs adopt out quickly before each event, so please complete an online application, which you can find on on our website at http://www.tracysdogs.com/adopt/Online_Adoption_Application.html. There are NO in-store, same day adoptions so please apply if you’re interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SANDY, a Monroeville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Monroeville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Monroeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
