COURTESY POST

Moishe Pippick had a happy home for 8 years, until his owner passed away. A neighbor has been looking after him for the past year but would like to find him a new home.

Moishe is handsome, cuddly, and a hunter at heart. He's in great shape--neutered, shots up to date and healthy. He will do best in a home where he is the only pet. He's not high maintenance at all but likes to be in charge.

He currently lives in College Park and is ready to move into his forever home now.

If you are interested in Moishe, call Diane 240-426-0980, or you can fill out a (no obligation) adoption application (http://www.pgspca.org/adopt/online-adoption-application/).

Moishe is NOT expecting to attend the next adoption show, June 11th at the Big Bad Woof in Hyattsville, although there's always a possibility that plans will need to change at the last minute.

We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. We are unable to place our animals outside of the Baltimore/DC area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adopted! Moishe Pippick, a Bowie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bowie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bowie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bowie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bowie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bowie paves the way for another one to be saved.
