My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Legend is a 2 and half year old probably sable merle rough collie boy.

He was an owner surrender. His owner was no longer able to care for all the collies she had.

Legend so far is quite the dream boy. Now since he has only been with us a short time that could change as he gets used to his new life but foster Mom is doubting it. He is getting along with other dogs in the foster home large and small. He is ignoring the cats. He was debarked so only has a whisper for a voice. His coat is quite sun damaged but once he is kept groomed, on a good diet and indoors it will come back sparkling. He loves attention and all people he has met. He is a large boy weighing 75 lbs but much of his size is his coat.

Seems to be house trained but does not yet have run of the whole house. He also is fine going in crate and will go in on his own with the door left open. He is a bit sloppy with his water bowl...if you don't mind a little drool when drinking...then he is your boy!! All vet work is up to date and he was neutered over a week ago.

Legend was debarked in his former home, so it may take some getting used to not hearing that big Collie bark come out of him but just a soft whisper.

This handsome boy is currently being fostered in SE Michigan.
